A man who had the temerity to request that two teenage girls stop fighting on top of his car was pummeled to a pulp by 50 African Americans in their late teens and now faces medical bills in the six digits.
On April 22, Baltimore resident Richard Fletcher saw two young women fighting on top of his car and went out to request they get off of it.
Instead of complying, up to 50 teenagers “jumped” the 61-year-old Baltimore resident and began kicking him while he was on the ground.
The teenagers crushed both of Fletcher’s eye sockets and broke several of his ribs as well as his nose. While Fletcher has been released from the hospital after spending the better part of a month in treatment, he now faces something between $200,000 and $400,000 in medical bills.
In addition, police “are hoping to bring all of the teens, who are believed to be students at Baltimore Community High School, that participated in the beating to justice.”
While the charges the unidentified juveniles are facing are unknown, Lawson is facing an attempted murder charge.
“He was brutally attacked,” Baltimore County Police Cpl. John Wachter told reporters. “He wasn’t trying to intervene in their disagreement. He just wanted them to stop fighting and move away from his car.” (H/T Breitbart)
While Fletcher’s story is just one tale of racially tinged violence to come out of Baltimore in the past month, it’s certainly one of the most depressing. Think of it: In the United States, you can now get trampled nearly to death merely for asking juveniles to take their fight off of your car.
These are the “peaceful protesters” the media is talking about. I wonder what the violent ones are like.
Police in Baltimore have since arrested several teens for their role in the brutal beating, 17-year-old Antoine Lawson, an unidentified 15-year-old girl and three other teens of indeterminate age.
Please like and share on Facebook and Twitter if you agree the teens who trampled Richard Fletcher need to be brought to justice and tried as adults.
