In a recent announcement from the camp of former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, the expected 2016 presidential contender let the nation know that he’s ready to fight on all fronts.
And that includes the terrorism front. Huckabee, also a former Fox News host, clearly understood the danger of radical Islam — he even said the actual words, “radical Islam” in his video, a huge step up from the current commander in chief who refuses to acknowledge our true enemies.
“There’s a difference between right and wrong. There’s a difference between good and evil. I’ll keep all the options on the table in order to defeat the evil forces of radical Islam,” Huckabee said toward the end of the video.
He provided no specifics, but leaving “all the options on the table” could very well include what may be needed most — boots on the ground in terrorist-controlled areas of Syria and Iraq, in a push to sever the head of the radical Islamic snake that terrifies the entire Middle East.
And we have no doubt that if he were to initiate a ground war with terrorist groups like the Islamic State group, he would make sure that we did it right — with enough manpower and equipment to eradicate the anti-Christian, anti-Western terrorists from the face of the planet.
From his video, Huckabee appears to be a man who only enters a fight that he knows he can finish — an example being his rise as a Republican governor in a state saturated with Clinton Democrats.
“Every day of my life in politics was a fight, and sometimes it was an intense one. But any drunken redneck can walk into a bar and start a fight. A leader only starts a fight that he’s prepared to finish,” Huckabee once said.
“I’ll lead with moral clarity in a dangerous world,” Huckabee promised (H/T Washington Examiner).
We’re convinced that he would take that attitude to the front-lines of the war on terror and finish what Obama was barely willing to start.
