President Trump early Wednesday accused political opponents of trying to “STEAL the Election” in a tweet that was flagged by the social media giant due to their “civic integrity policy.”

Trump also declared a “big WIN” for his campaign, and teased a further statement as the votes trickled in.

“We are up BIG, but they are trying to STEAL the Election,” wrote Trump as his opponent, former Democratic Vice President Joe Biden, was delivering brief remarks in Wilmington, Delaware.

“We will never let them do it. Votes cannot be cast after the Poles [sic] are closed!” added Trump, including a typo he later amended.

Moments after the initial tweet about Democrats trying to “STEAL” the election, Twitter flagged the post with a warning for making a “potentially misleading claim about an election.”

Trump also said that he would follow Biden in addressing the American people early Wednesday.

“I will be making a statement tonight,” he wrote. “A big WIN!”

Early returns have been largely devoid of upsets — save a Biden win in Arizona — but final totals in the key swing states of Pennsylvania, Wisconsin and Michigan aren’t expected anytime soon.
