How Jew-hate became the new normal in the Democratic Party

Ari Lieberman, Pelosi’s Stand for Ilhan!

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has endorsed Ilhan Omar over her more moderate opponent in a hotly contested primary race for Minnesota’s 5th congressional district scheduled for August 11. Despite Pelosi’s endorsement, Omar’s challenger, Antone Melton-Meaux, has managed to garner a substantial war chest and has out-funded Omar by wide margins. He draws support from more moderate Democrats who view Omar with suspicion and have been turned off by her toxic rhetoric, questionable ethics and anti-Semitic commentary.

Omar has raised the ire of moderate Democrats who view her malign commentary as a liability to the Democratic Party. She has also raised eyebrows by engaging in a pattern of ethical breaches that would have ended the careers of other politicians similarly situated.

Omar has been dogged by accusations of marrying her brother in an alleged convoluted immigration, education and marriage fraud scheme. It’s an allegation that she’s referred to as “disgusting lies” but she’s yet to rebut the charge, the evidence for which remains compelling and persuasive. The FBI is reportedly investigating the claim but has yet to confirm or deny the existence of an official criminal investigation.

She also filed joint tax returns with an individual she was living with while simultaneously legally married to another individual, to wit, her alleged brother. In addition, Minnesota campaign finance officials found that Omar had misused campaign funds in violation of state rules. She was forced to repay her campaign committee nearly $3,500 and was also required to pay a $500 penalty to the state.

Finally, Omar has channeled more than $878,000 of campaign funds to E Street Group, a consulting firm owned and operated by Tim Mynett. Omar and Mynett were lovers and are now married. It’s Omar’s third marriage, including the alleged sham marriage to her brother. She transferred $189,000 to Mynett’s firm after Mynett and Omar officially tied the knot.

Equally disquieting is Omar’s long, vile history of spewing anti-Semitic slurs and conspiracy theories. In the past, she’s accused American Jews of possessing dual loyalties and claimed that pro-Israel sentiment is driven by money. “It’s all about the Benjamins,” she infamously tweeted. In another tweet, she claimed that Israel had “hypnotized the world,” and in a Jihadist bent, asked that “Allah awaken the people and let them see the evil doings of Israel.” Before her congressional election, she told an audience that she opposed the BDS ideology but performed a remarkable about-face following the election. She is now among the fiercest proponents of the anti-Semitic ideology and often propagates the Israel-apartheid canard. She has also obscenely likened boycotts of Israel to boycotts of the Nazi regime.

In response to Omar’s repeated anti-Semitic outbursts, the Democrat-controlled House of Representatives passed a watered down, pathetic resolution condemning antisemitism. Tellingly, Democrats failed to mention Omar even though it was her vile remarks that prompted the resolution. Even more revealing is the fact that though Omar’s remarks were directed toward Jews and Israel in particular, Democrats could not bring themselves to formulate a resolution that specifically addressed antisemitism. Instead, they chose to lump age-old, Jew hating conspiracy theories with about a dozen or so other categories including Islamophobia and transphobia.

There were calls for Pelosi to kick Omar off the House Committee on Foreign Affairs, a reasonable recommendation considering her repeated anti-Semitic outbursts. Pelosi had originally assigned Omar to the coveted committee despite her long record of anti-Israel advocacy. But Pelosi stubbornly refused to entertain the suggestion.

In 2019, the NGO gave Omar the dubious distinction of being anti-Semite of the year, edging out the likes of Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan and white supremacist Richard Spencer. The group cited a long litany of reasons including those previously noted as well as an abject lack of remorse, and the fact that former KKK head David Duke publicly endorsed many of her statements.

In August 2019 Omar and fellow congressional cohort Rashida Tlaib, planned to visit Israel and meet with an assortment of anti-Israel agitators and provocateurs on trip sponsored by a pro-Palestinian NGO called Miftah. Miftah had previously been caught spreading ancient blood libels including the particularly insidious canard that Jews use the blood of non-Jewish children as an ingredient in matzah – unleavened bread used during the holiday of Passover. Israel nixed the trip on the well-founded belief that Omar and Tlaib would violate Israeli laws, harm Israel and increase incitement against it.

Omar’s sordid past of anti-Semitism, as well as her legal and ethical transgressions begs the question; why would Pelosi endorse her over a more qualified and more moderate opponent? The answer should be patently obvious to all but the most myopic. Antisemitism is the now the new norm in the Democratic Party. It has been mainstreamed by the likes of Pelosi and her media allies at the New York Times, CNN and MSNBC.

The Democratic party of today has drifted hopelessly and irretrievably into Corbyn territory while the voices of moderation are being silenced through bullying and intimidation. The more Democrats lurch dangerously leftward and pander to their extremist elements, the more the level intolerance and toxicity will increase and just like the British Labor Party, Jews will find themselves unwelcome in the party they once called home.

A Muslim ‘Holocaust Remembrance’ Travesty

Andrew Bostom, Was an interfaith junket to Auschwitz only a Muslim public relations stunt?

Whether one considers the masses of Muslims who have been flowing into Europe as (primarily) economic refugees, proud hijra colonists “quietly” Islamizing the continent, or both, these newly-arrived votaries of Islam express an unabashed Islamic Jew-hatred. Their virulently anti-Jewish attitudes are consistent with the disproportionate three-fold increased rate of extreme anti-Semitism among Western European Muslims in general, relative to non-Muslims, just reported November 21, 2019 in the latest comprehensive Anti-Defamation League survey findings. Germany’s failed attempt to mollify this new Muslim immigrant animus toward Jews by “sensitivity” visits to Nazi-era concentration camp memorials demonstrates its deep-seated intractability.

“The spectacle of brutality on display at Sachsenhausen did not awe [Syrian Muslim] Jamo, a former photographer who had known daily violence in Syria. No matter the direct perpetrator of the violence Jamo had witnessed, the greatest cause of conflict in the region, he said, was Israel’The Arabs think what Hitler did was a good thing, because he freed them from the Jews.’”

The depressing failure to lessen Jew-hating sentiments in these grassroots Muslims—where it counts—through Holocaust charnel house visits, has garnered little attention. Contrast that with the much-ballyhooed pilgrimage to Auschwitz by what was characterized as “the most senior Islamic leadership delegation” to visit the location of a Nazi German death camp. This interfaith junket, spearheaded by Saudi “reformist” secretary general of the Muslim World League (MWL), Mohammad bin Abdulkarim al-Issa, and the CEO of the American Jewish Committee (AJC), David Harris, took place four days before the 75th anniversary of the camp’s January 27, 1945 liberation.

Far less widely reported, Al-Issa’s Muslim delegation was on a broader Holocaust immoral equivalence, and Muslim proselytization tour to “several sites of injustice,” including Srebrenica, Bosnia. There, during 1995, a tit-for-tat massacre of Bosnian Muslims—bearing no relationship in either scale, or single-target, monomaniacal hatred to the Nazi Holocaust destruction of European Jewry–took place during a bloody civil war between the region’s Serbs and Muslims. Here is the al-Issa/MWL tours’ stated purpose, as described in Asharq Al-Awsat:

“The visit of the Islamic delegation confirms the Islamic values and asserts that Muslims condemn every criminal act. The Islamic leaders will visit the sites and affirm that Islam is a religion of mercy and fairness and that it is against all malicious practices, adding that this is not limited to Muslims, but involves everyone. A large number of senior scholars of the MWL participated in various efforts to explain Islamic justice in its related positions, during several visits, meetings, initiatives, and declarations. This was reflected in the positive image of Islam and Muslims against all forms of extremism and radicalization.”

Moreover, in Saudi Arabia, al-Issa, despite being dubbed the so-called “new face of Saudi Wahhabism,” is viewed with understandable skepticism by genuine Saudi reformers. Political scientist Stephane Lacroix, who studies Islamic authoritarianism within Saudi Arabia and the Gulf States, has noted,

“As one Saudi intellectual said: ‘How can one take Muhammad al-Issa’s statements seriously when Religious bookstores in Riyadh are full of books advocating the exact opposite?’”

Lacroix added this acid observation when referencing that statement: “Interview with a now jailed Saudi intellectual, January 2018.” Other imprisonments of dissident reformers by al-Issa’s powerful patron Muhammad bin Salman (MBS), Lacroix concludes,

“…makes MBS’s (and al-Issa’s) religious reforms look more like a public relations stunt than a genuine transformation. No such transformation can happen without an open and frank debate about the Wahhabi tradition—and this is precisely what MBS is not willing to have.”

Returning to al-Issa’s 1/23/20 Auschwitz junket, and unpacking his statements about the Holocaust, since 2018, demonstrates his rather odious expropriation of the Holocaust’s legacy for Muslim propaganda purposes.

Al-Issa’s putatively “landmark” January 25, 2018 letter to the Director of the U.S. Holocaust Museum, Sara Bloomfield, although decrying the Holocaust as “among the worst crimes ever,” was devoid of any reference to Jews as the victims, yet managed to emphasize, “True Islam is against these crimes.” Al-Issa added, mendaciously, and contra Islam’s Sharia mandates for all non-Muslims, and their historical application across 14 centuries until now, that “Islam has, through long centuries, coexisted with all religions, and respected the dignity of its [sic; their?] followers”. Last April 30, 2019, in a “memorandum of understanding” with the AJC unveiling the then-planned visit to Auschwitz, al-Issa denounced the “heinous attacks in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, in Christchurch, New Zealand, and most recently in Sri Lanka.” Al-Issa’s comments, however, ignored the endless paroxysms of violence by Muslims directed at the Jews of Israel, and the excessive, if more sporadic, ongoing Muslim attacks on European and American Jews. He also refused to acknowledge, let alone condemn, mainstream, institutional Islam’s continuous espousal of canonical Islamic Jew-hatred, and the resulting grossly disproportionate rates of extreme Muslim Antisemitism, and Muslim anti-Jewish violence, worldwide.

There has been a longstanding refusal of Muslim leaders such as al-Issa to recognize the World War II-era Nazi collaboration—punctuated with overt calls for Jew-annihilation, by jihad—of arguably the most influential Muslim of that era: the jihadist, Caliphate-championing “godfather” of the Palestinian Muslim movement, Hajj Amin el-Husseini. Contemporary Muslim leaders of al-Issa’s ilk have proven equally incapable of acknowledging how Muslim leaders such as Anwar Sadat admired Hitler even after WWII, or how post-WWII, escaped Nazis—many of whom converted to Islam (most notably, Johannes “Omar Amin” von Leers, whose conversion el-Husseini himself oversaw!), were granted asylum, particularly in Egypt, and contributed to the incessant Muslim jihad campaigns to destroy Israel and annihilate its Jews from 1948 through (at least) 1973.

That reprehensible legacy of Muslim denial continues, and now has been extended to real-time ignoring of the current global pandemic of Muslim Jew-hatred and anti-Jewish violence. This Muslim caricature of “Holocaust remembrance” further cynically equates the systematic Nazi annihilation of 6-million Jews during the Shoah, with the Srebrenica murders of perhaps 7,000 Muslims during the 1990s Muslim-Serb civil war in Bosnia, a conflict rife with reprisal killings.

What ordinary, sensible Jews should “Never Forget” is that what passes for “Jewish leadership” proudly orchestrated this hideous spectacle of mutual Jewish-Muslim denial.

Fanning the Flames of Black Anti-Semitism

How the Left is helping New York join Berlin, London, and Paris in attacks against Jews.

Is the greater New York city joining Berlin, London, and Paris as cities where identifiably dressed Jews are subjected to harassment, insults, and violent assaults? Judging by the recent attacks in New York city and Union City, NJ, the answer is yes. Ironically, New York, known as the city with the largest Jewish population in the world, and where Jews contributed richly and decisively to its greatness, is now experiencing multiple antisemitic hate crimes. Alarmingly, the scourge of antisemitism has become an epidemic in the liberal western world, including the U.S. A spate of antisemitic hate crimes in December, 2019 and into the new year of 2020, in greater New York city, illustrates the point.

The Jerusalem Post reported on New Year’s Day, 2020, that two black women shoved a 22-year old Hasidic Jewish man and yelled “F… you Jew” and added, “I will kill you.” That occurred in the Williamsburg section of Brooklyn, NY. On December 24, 2019, the New York City Police Department released a video showing a group of black teenagers assaulting a 23-year old Hasidic Jewish man in Brooklyn. A few days earlier, a 34-year old black woman named Tiffany Harris attacked three Jewish women in front of their young children in Brooklyn. The 34-year old woman admitted to the police, “yes, I slapped them. I cursed them. I said F… you Jews.” She was released shortly after being arrested. More violent and deadly assaults on Jews took place on December 10, 2019, in a Jersey City Kosher supermarket, where three people were murdered by black racist antisemites. On the seventh day of Chanukah, 2019, a black anti-Semite with a machete cut down and severely injured five Hasidic Jews at a home of a Chabad rabbi, in Monsey, New York. Last month, a young Israeli exchange student was verbally assaulted and threatened on a busy New York subway, and once again, the perpetrator was a black man. The police stood by doing nothing.

The Wiesenthal Center top ten list of antisemitism has given New York city the “honor” of being number six. The acceptance of anti-Jewish bigotry is now justified by political correctness (PC), whose dictates includes “justice for Palestinians.” The BDS movement (Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions), anti-Israel, and anti-Jewish bigotry has been legitimized on American college campuses, particularly in some Ivy League schools of which Columbia University is a prime example. The New York Times reported that, “Of 421 hate crimes in New York City in 2019, more than half were directed at Jews, according to police crime data.”

With New York City being a bastion of liberalism, one would assume that blatant antisemitism would raise some concern among city leaders, but short of verbal expression, nothing else has been done.  Hate crimes against Jews by African-Americans does not fit the progressive media playbook. For the media and the politicians, African-Americans are permanent “victims,” and therefore cannot be racist or antisemitic. Yet, the current assaults on Jews cannot be blamed on white supremacists. It is the work of African-Americans imbued with racist and antisemitic sentiments. It is rather ironic that Jews, who stood along with Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. in his fight for civil rights and equality for African-Americans, and were the most ardent champions of the civil-rights movement, are now the victims of the very people American Jews have fought for.

The African-American community leadership has thus far failed to address the antisemitism in its midst.  The Nation of Islam leader, Louis Farrakhan, probably the vilest anti-Semite and racist in today’s America, and hater of Jews and Christians, who called Jews “termites”, has been coddled by many black leaders including Congresswoman Maxine Waters (D-CA), and Jesse Jackson of “Hymietown fame” remarks against Jews in 1984. Farrakhan, who came out in Jackson’s defense, threatened Jews charging, “If you harm this brother (Jackson), it will be the last one you harm.” There are also the race-mongering Rev. Al Sharpton who was fanning flames during the anti-Jewish riots in Crown Heights, (to his credit, this time Sharpton denounced the antisemitism in the Monsey, New York attack), and Tamika Mallory, the organizer of the Women’s March, who called Farrakhan “great” and took admiring photos with him.  Lest we forget, President Obama’s personal pastor, Jeremiah Wright, is an anti-Semite, and anti-white racist.

New York Times editorial (January 1, 2020) titled “It is an Old and Insidious Hatred…” dealing with the attacks in New York and Jersey City, failed to mention that the perpetrators were blacks, which is typical of the PC culture the liberal media has promoted, and in most cases denies reality and excuses crimes committed by blacks. If a color-blind principle prevails, then mentioning black perpetrators of crime is as legitimate as mentioning white perpetrators, but it cannot be just one way. Furthermore, there are black racists as there are white racists. No one race has a monopoly on racism, or antisemitism.

It is not however, in the media alone that PC prevails over justice and fairness. In the U.S. Congress, the two Muslim Congresswomen Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) and Ilhan Omar (D-MN) have been excused for their blatant antisemitism and hatred of Israel. Following Omar’s antisemitic tirade against American Jews supporting Israel, accusing them of dual loyalty, and “It’s all about the Benjamins” quip, she received a congressional “slap on her wrist” but was not removed from the prestigious and sensitive Foreign Affairs Committee. Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi advanced a lukewarm resolution against antisemitism but took no disciplinary action against these two members of congress.

In New York State, Governor Andrew Cuomo, pushed a Bail Reform Bill that enabled Tiffany Harris to be released by police because the new bill allows the release of perpetrators if the judge deems the offense to be a non-sexual assault case, where supposedly no physical injury has occurred. But assaulting three innocent Jewish woman and slapping them in front of their children is not only a humiliating and psychological injury, it is also physical one, and it was clearly a hate crime.

New York City Mayor Bill DeBlasio has refrained from taking a clear stand against antisemitism because of the PC culture. To combat antisemitism would require admitting the real source of Jew-hatred. Much of it is black resentment of Jewish success. According to the New York Post (12/30/2019), Black political leaders like City Councilwoman Laurie Cumbo, blamed the recent spate of anti-Jewish attacks on black fears of being “pushed out” by Jewish landlords? Jersey City, NJ school-board member Joan Terrell-Paige remarked after the killing in her city Jewish supermarket in December, calling Jews “brutes who waved bags of money.” DeBlasio’s fear of antagonizing the black community by pointing out the anti-Jewish bigotry their midst, and demanding change from black pastors, politicians, and educators, is not happening.

In the age of social media and the internet, fanning the flames of hatred, and especially the oldest hatred – antisemitism, is rather easy. The culture of political correctness has proscribed anti-black and anti-Muslim bigotry and hate. Manifestations of such hatreds are punished and ostracized by our media, politicians, and society in general. Unfortunately, PC culture, and the media, and politicians who follow its dictum, have not done the same about Jew-hated.

2020 Dems Addressed Sharpton’s National Action Network, Which Just Defended Killing Jews

Daniel Greenfield,

Al Sharpton, a gutter bigot, has become a Democrat kingmaker. Virtually every major Democrat of note has spoken at his National Action Network events.

And here’s what the National Action Network stands for.

Joan Terrell-Paige was a community organizer and sits on the Jersey City Board of Education. After members of a racist black nationalist hate group attacked a Kosher supermarket, while intending to target a Jewish school next door, she came to her defense.

The media keeps focusing on her comments about Jewish brutes buying houses, while ignoring the worst part at the end, in which she directly justified the murders, promoted the killers as heroes, and urged support for anti-Semitism.

“Drugs and guns are planted in the Black community. Mr. Anderson and Ms. Graham went directly to the kosher supermarket. I believe they knew they would come out in body bags. What is the message they were sending? Are we brave enough to explore the answer to their message? Are we brave enough to stop the assault on the Black communities of America?”

Why does the media continue to censor this part?

Because it’s completely unjustifiable. But it’s being justified anyway. Including by the local chapter of the National Action Network which attacked Governor Murphy and Mayor Steven Fulop for criticizing her.

An official from a civil rights group whose leader has been frequently accused of antisemitism has leaped to the defense of the Jersey City Board of Education member who justified the Dec. 10 gun attack on a kosher market in the city.

“She said nothing wrong. Everything she said is the truth,” declared Carolyn Oliver Fair — executive director of the North Jersey Chapter of the National Action Network, whose president is the Rev. Al Sharpton  — in defense of Joan Terrell Paige, the board member whose now-deleted entry on her Facebook page ranted against the “brutes of the jewish community” before asking whether society was “brave enough” to understand the “message” of the two shooters, David Anderson and Francine Graham.

But according to Oliver Fair, both Fulop and New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy “need to shut their mouths.”

“How dare they speak out against someone saying how they feel. She said nothing wrong. Everything she said is the truth. So where is this antisemitism coming in? I am not getting it,” Oliver Fair told The Jersey Journal.

There was also a weasely defense from a Democrat caucus.

“The Hudson County Democratic Black Caucus does not condone hatred towards any group,” the group said in a statement. “While we do not agree with the delivery of the statement made by Ms. Terrell-Paige, we believe that her statement has heightened awareness around issues that must be addressed and should be a topic of a larger conversation by two communities that have already and must always continue to coexist harmoniously.”

Here’s a Democrat caucus arguing that the issue with defending the murder of Jews by blaming them for moving to Jersey City is “tone” and that there should be a larger conversation about how wrong it is for Jews to move to Jersey City.

But let’s get back to the National Action Network.

Sharpton’s hate group has been addressed by Barack Obama, Elizabeth Warren, Eric Holder, Beto O’Rourke, Andrew Yang, Julian Castro, Pete Buttigieg, Kamala Harris, Cory Booker, Kirsten Gillibrand, and Bernie Sanders.

And yes, Nancy Pelosi has been there too.

Will the National Action Network dump their own chapter director for justifying the murder of Jews? Will 2020 Democrats condemn the hate group they addressed? Will anyone actually ask Elizabeth Warren, Bernie Sanders or Cory Booker to condemn this?

Don’t count on it.

But they ought to be asked.

Jersey City Terrorists Were Planning On Killing 50 Jewish Children

Pamela Geller,
Incited by Nation of Islam Farrakhan, Jersey City Terrorists Were Planning On Killing 50 Jewish Children In Yeshiva Next Door.
The enemedia blames Trump for every mad act. My colleagues and I are blamed for Nazis in Europe – with no evidence or truth. But when a leftwing darling is behind mass murderer – all quiet on the Western front.

Mr. Anderson repeatedly played audio recordings of a man the neighbor believed to be Louis Farrakhan, and sounded like he himself was growing agitated.

The neighbor said the most common theme was that Mr. Anderson’s religion was the only true faith while others — specifically Catholicism and Judaism — were false.

Just one door away from the JC Kosher Supermarket, the scene of the Jersey City terror attack, is the local Cheder with approximately 50 children. Many were speculating that the terrorists had more than enough ammunition to kill a few people in a supermarket, and feared that the intended target was the school.

This fear seems to be turning into a confirmation on Friday morning, as Jersey City mayor Fulop tweeted the following moments ago:

“My opinion is that as more info comes out it’ll become increasingly clear that the target was the 50 children at the Yeshiva attached to that store. We will never know 100% but the doorway to the yeshiva was 3 feet away + it seems he goes in that direction 1st.

This is a horrible tragedy but even in so much darkness with lives lost there is some light in that without question had the bravery/quick response of the police not trapped them in the store this could have been much much worse.”

Watch the videos below, where you can see the security camera footage of the terrorists running towards the supermarket.
