White supremacy is woven “into our founding documents and principles,” President Joe Biden’s ambassador to the United Nations said on Wednesday.
The United States needs to practice “humility” when it comes to promoting “equity and justice” on the international stage, Ambassador Linda Thomas-Greenfield said after mentioning the administration’s intention to rejoin the U.N. Human Rights Council.
“I have seen for myself how the original sin of slavery weaved White supremacy into our founding documents and principles,” she said.
Not only is Thomas-Greenfield a tedious leftist bigot, but she’s also illiterate. Then again, I’m sure white supremacy is also ‘weaved’ into literacy.
Remember when Never Trumpers kept insisting that the Biden Administration would be moderate and repair our national image?
This is what that looks like.
We Were Almost Out of Afghanistan – Biden’s Boss Dragged Us Back
Biden is taking some sort of bizarre victory lap for finally pulling out of Afghanistan. Or at least announcing that he plans to.
Considering that Obama withdrew from Iraq twice, without actually withdrawing, there’s good reason to be skeptical. Meanwhile the Washington Post is pulling out headlines like this, “Biden’s Afghanistan withdrawal is a moment of truth — and a potentially humbling one — for GOP hawks”.
Sure, for all those GOP hawks.
American troop numbers had sharply dropped in Afghanistan. Obama came into office and claimed that Bush had taken our eye off the ball in fighting Al Qaeda and that we had to get out of Iraq and go into Afghanistan.
Never mind that there was a whole lot more Al Qaeda, that would turn into ISIS, in Iraq than Afghanistan.
The resulting massive surge was disastrous as American soldiers fought the Taliban while crippled by rules of engagement that prevented them from actually taking the battle to the enemy or even defending themselves.
All of this was done, as I’ve noted, based on Obama’s big lie.
1,600 Americans died chasing a political slogan that existed only in the heads of his speechwriters.
In 2009, the CIA determined that there were at most 100 Al Qaeda in Afghanistan. Next year his own CIA director admitted that there were at most 50-100 Al Qaeda in Afghanistan.
That same year 499 Americans were killed in Afghanistan.
Biden gave his speech claiming that he’ll end America’s longest war. That line should sound familiar. His boss delivered it in 2014, declaring, “We will bring America’s longest war to a responsible end.”
No really, “Now, thanks to the extraordinary sacrifices of our men and women in uniform, our combat mission in Afghanistan is ending, and the longest war in American history is coming to a responsible conclusion.”
This was the same scam that Obama had pulled in Iraq, claiming that the combat mission is over, while the troops left behind were there just as advisors. He tried to pull the same stunt in Afghanistan, announcing that the war was over 7 years ago.
Biden, as usual, is just an echo of his old boss.
